Introduction:
Markaz Al-Shifa (Regd)
was created to make a difference in the lives of people around Pakistan
through the delivering of innovative herbal products,
services and new techniques. In February 1982 it was registered with the
objective to focus upon particular diseases with high expectations for the
treatment with high cure rate.
Hakim Bashir Ahmad Butt was the
founder member who had established the platform for the future. He was
convinced the combination of the entrepreneurial spirit and research at
the very highest level would lead us to the goal whereby we should
continue to produce new herbal medicines in addition to existing products.
In the beginning, a clinic started the
treatment of chronic diseases like, Ulcer,
Diabetes and Cancer (one of
the World's biggest killers). The treatment of patients' was continued in
high cure rate. By this standard of treatment, the Clinic started its
recognition throughout Pakistan. Our Health Care Program (HCP) reflects
our firm commitment to establish long-term growth. It is a research-based
Clinic dedicated to meeting health care challenges on a Pan Pakistan basis
by offering a wide range of solutions through the discovery and
development of innovative medicines as well as the provision of other
important life-saving products and services.

Research is also being carried out in
three therapeutic fields, such as Gastroenterology,
Gynecology and Oncology herbals of
fundamental importance to the Markaz is the continued research into
original established products. Markaz Al-Shifa is an important well
established Clinic; researching, developing and manufacturing herbal
products.
Markaz Al-Shifa places great emphasis
on research and development. In 1998, a lump sum amount was spent in this
important area. Research for drugs used in Urology and Tumor - therapies
are of particular interest and Markaz Al-Shifa holds a prominent position
in these fields.
Markaz Al-Shifa has earned good
reputation in Pakistan. Patients are treated with pure herbal medicines
and the cure rate is 100%.
Now, the Clinic has been well equipped
in newly built hospital, treating the patients in all diseases with great
Care and Cure. Also special arrangements have been made in Emergency Ward.
Physiotherapy and Minor Surgery Wards are also working successfully.
Gynecology and Obstetrician Wards will
